What do I do if I’m having a maintenance emergency?

If you are having a police, fire or medical emergency, please immediately call 911.

If you are having a maintenance emergency, please call the Prosper Urban offices at (512) 992-0888. If it is after-hours, please follow the prompts and press 3 to reach the operator to report the maintenance emergency. 

The following are examples of maintenance emergencies:

  • life threatening conditions
  • broken door or lock
  • broken door
  • broken window
  • electrical problem
  • fire
  • flooding
  • gas leak smell
  • ice on walkways
  • lock-outs
  • broken air conditioner
  • no heat
  • no running water
  • water leak
  • no working toilet
  • water won’t shut off
  • police on-property

Please file a routine maintenance request for anything that does not constitute as a maintenance emergency.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, you may have up to two pets. There is a one-time fee of $400 per pet, and an additional $15/month added to your rent per pet.

How much is the application fee?

There is a nonrefundable application fee of $45. If you are approved, there is an administrative fee of $100.

Is there parking available?

Yes, parking is free and is first come, first served. Each resident is allotted two parking spaces. Your guests may park in the Westfort parking lot.

Are there washers & dryers?

There are two laundromats on-site. You must pay by credit or debit card using the CSC Go app or website. Our townhome units feature in-unit washers and dryers.

Is this a gated community?

Yes, the entry gate is off of Brahan Blvd and the exit gate is off of Army Blvd. All pedestrian entrances to the complex are also locked with a pin code.

How much do I have to make to live at The Westfort Broadway?

The combined income of all residents on your lease must be at least 3 times the rent amount. Please consider that we also take your renter’s history into account as well: broken leases, evictions, lack of renter’s credit, etc.

How do I pay rent?

We recommend paying your rent on your phone with the AppFolio Portal app or on the AppFolio Portal website  by clicking here. With AppFolio, you may pay with a debit or credit card or directly with your bank account.

If you’d like to pay with a check or money order, you may do so but you must mail the check or money order certified mail to Prosper Urban Inc., 123 Road Ave, Austin, TX.

We do not accept rent payments on-site at the management office, nor do we accept cash payments.

How do I file a maintenance request?

For routine maintenance requests, please use the AppFolio Portal app or website to make the maintenance request. If you are having a maintenance emergency, please call the Prosper Urban at (512) 992-0888. If it is after-hours, please call (512) 992-0888 and follow the prompts to reach the answering service operator to report the maintenance emergency, who will immediately notify on-site maintenance.

A maintenance emergency constitutes: life threatening conditions, broken door, broken lock, broken door, broken window, electrical problem, elevator stuck, fire, flooding, gas leak smell, ice on walkways, lock-outs, broken air conditioner, no heat, no running water, water leak, no working toilet, water won’t shut off, or police on-property.

Do you have maintenance on-site?

Yes. our Director of Maintenance does live on-site.

Is there covered parking?

Yes, covered parking is available and is first-come, first-served.

Is parking free?

Yes, parking at The Westfort is free. Each unit is allocated two parking spaces.

Which units have backyards or balconies?

Only the one bedroom units with a study have a balcony or patio.

Which units have washers and dryers?

All units have access to our two laundromats on-site. The 2 bedroom Townhome apartments have in-unit washers and dryers.

What are the options for the length of my lease?

We typically offer 13 or 12 month leases, but if needed, we can accommodate you with 6 month lease for a small fee.

When is rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month, and late fees are assessed on the 4th of the month. We recommend signing up for autopay on the AppFolio Portal so that you never forget to pay and never have late fees!
